Session with Hong Soon Mok & Park Na Rae
They introduced some vod clip about mother's love for her son.
The story of the vod:
Her son is a boxer. One day, this black boxer was hitting lopsidedly
from the opposite. His mother was not able to keep watching the game,
so she got into the ring, jumped and sent some strokes to the back of
the opposite boxer's head.
Hong Soon Mok/ In the future, if you get to see that your son is
being hit like that, how would you feel? Will you get upset or not?
Ggong/ Humm, I would not get upset. That is my son's life.
Hong & PNR / Wow...! You are so cool. Too chic...!
Ggong/ It's because his passion as a boxer made him get on the ring. Therefore, I should let him do it naturally.
Hong/ You have a real father's side.
Ggong/ I would not let him be a boxer too early. I'll let him study. At least, on the education sides...,
Of course, only studying is not the most important thing. If my child is a son, I would bring him up freely.
But if he wants to be a singer or actor or something like that, I would oppose to the job desperately.
I don't want to recommend him to do acting and singing that much..
I want to bring him up living a humdrum (ordinary) life like ordinary
people. That is my simple dream I've been thinking.
It's because I already felt many difficulties when I was living as
an actor, plus now I'm feeling too and even more I'll have the feeling
constantly in my future.
If my son insists to act due to the actor's blood running in him, I would consider it much..
But I wish my son won't have my artist's blood... Hopefully he couldn't do.. Surely...

Guest/Singer introduced for this evening is Lee Seung Cheol.
After the song "Neverending Story" was played, they talked about an
actor singing this song in the drama 내조의 여왕 (Queen of Housewives), and
that he sang very well in the drama because he used to prepare to be a
singer as well.
Then JY asked Ggong didn't he sing like that actor as well in CP?
Ggong replied that he didn't want to purposely sing without any
relation to the storyline. It will not be comfortable for him just to
show his talents when the singing scene doesn't fit with the story of
the drama. These days, there are many drama often shows the main actor
singing scene just for showing their private talent only, just like a
bonus scene.. even if it's not related to the story that much.
Then Ggong continue on with his story.. There was one day, PD Lee
recommended Ggong to sing saying that it will be good/benefit for him.
Then Ggong opposed to her recommendation. And on another day, Kim Chang
Wan also recommended too. During the prince concert in CP, KCW teased
Ggong by recommending that he will bring the songs which he composed
for Ggong asking if he could sing it thinking of Go Eun Chan naturally.
But even KCW said like that and composed for Ggong, Ggong still refused
to accept his offer. So, he felt sorry for KCW. Ggong might have sung
in CP if he had accepted it.
JY said to Ggong, "I like your firm style as an actor, you seem to have a sort of faith in acting."

[03-June-2009] Summary for Ggong's 20s - Tuesday, 02-June-2009
Message from Japanese listener about going shopping with her son who is a college student this year.
The son went shopping with his mom because he wanted his mom to buy him
a rather expensive and fashionable blue jeans. So mom bought the jeans
for him as a gift. His mom had always wanted to go shopping with her
son and she envies other moms who have daughters. At least, on that day
she doesn't feel jealous of other moms.
Ggong commented, "Yeah... moms who only have sons will feel envy of
moms who have daughters. It's because they (mom with daughters) can
spend time with their daughters enjoying trifling daily things like
shopping, going to 찜질방/jjim jil bang/ (like sauna/spa. Something like
the place Tae In and Bori went to in BTSC where they wore blue shirt
and short with white towel on their head, Tae In was reading comic
while Bori was sleeping on his lap.), going to beauty salon and going
to the market. Most men don't enjoy shopping... So, it could be
difficult for him to go shopping with his mom."
Ggong also mentioned that he likes to go shopping. Plus he recalled
that when he was young and he had a to-buy-list which he wanted to
have.. He would teased his mom to buy him a pair blue jeans in fashion
during that time saying sweetly like 'I willl study hard, mom' or 'I
will grade up my level, please...' "
As he grew up, he didn't have much time to spend with his mom.
However, he not only likes to shop for clothes, but also likes to
go to the supermarket to get some groceries using the cart/trolley. He
had gone there (supermarket) quite a long while ago, once or twice with
his mom, but his mom wasn't comfortable spending time with him due to
too many people there.
That reminded him of his mom's somewhat bitter comment one day, like "I also wish my son is just like an ordinary guy."
If his guess is right, not sure if she is getting older or so... but Ggong was able to feel her heart deeply at that moment.
He also doesn't feel comfortable as his mom was not feeling comfortable.
Now, he doesn't need to go shopping because he lives with his
parents, but he commented that if he lives alone, he would go shopping
at the supermarket very much fully hiding his face wearing many clothes
like caps.. etc...
Ggong / (to the Japanese listener) From now on, your son will follow you well.
Maybe he could feel that shopping with mom is not that bad.. but
not sure whether he will go shopping frequently... perhaps at least
until he lose the happiness for the pair of blue jeans...kekeke...
Ggong continued on with his comment...
Ggong / On the contrary, after I grew up I found out that it is
very fun that I go shopping with my mom who is very small (size/build).
Before this, I get goose bumps when I went shopping hooking/holding on
to my mom.
After MS, I will be a son like before.
Then, as he was about to play the song "If you are" by Alex, he again mentioned....
Ggong/ Kyaaaaa... ! Scenarist nim, did you purposely pick this song?
This song is very good after reading kind of sweet message.
It's getting difficult for all Korean men to go out with girls.
Alex, this guy gave women too high expectation of Korean men. That's
why I'm going to learn cooking. Because of Alex... hehe..

1. Message from a 31 year old listener who wish to realize her two simple dreams...
Her first dream, she wish have a private library filled with books
and CDs. Second, she wish to see the stars in the sky through the
telescope with her son in the future. She already accomplished her
first dream a few days ago. She put many books and CDs that she's been
collecting till now on the bookshelf, but she has yet to achieve her
second dream. She is currently still single, so she needs to get
married first to achieve that dream.
Ggong commented, "Ahhhh... me too, me too, me too....! Now, I'm
collecting books and CDs. Many fans gave them to me as gifts and even
now in MS, they continue to give. Then, hummm.. You are all going to
continue to give them (books/cds) to me, huh? Wow! the dream sounds
very nice. BTW, I think it will be good too, if we just put the books
and cds at a side in the room, not only arranging them properly in the
bookshelf. That could look more stylish... keke.. But it will surely be
difficult to find a book or cd that I want though.... "
Ggong continued on mentioning, " As you already know about my
simple dream... I just want to be a good father and a good husband in
the future. Of course, I think it is a very simple wish but the most
important one. But these days, I seem to lose a little confidence with
that.. I also think that a man who became a good husband and good
father is truly a winner in his life. That's why I seem to insist to
dream of becoming a father. Maybe inside my heart, I don't want to be a
loser/failure. Of course, now I'm working as an actor, but if I'm not
able to be a father and husband, I would feel like I'm a loser/failure
in my life. I know Korean top actors like Jang Dong Gun and Jung Woo
Sung, they are working very actively as an actor till now, and not
getting married eventhough they are over mid-30s already. However, I
don't feel jealous of them at all, just that in my thoughts it didn't
look very nice for them, because they are alone. Eventhough I'll be
working very hard continuously as an actor, so I can feel the
loneliness sometimes as well.

She was worried whether she should say something or not if she got
to see a man whose Y-shirt (shirt with collar) is coming out from the
back of his slacks. She wanted to inform him that his shirt came out
from the back of his slacks, but she didn't, fearing that he would feel
unpleasant, offended by her words. However, if she saw Ggong in that
situation, she would kindly inform him.
Ggong commented, "Aiyooo... In that situation, I think it should be
very ok if you had informed him. Plus, it is not a very embarrassing
moment either, moreover, humm.... it is not a situation that the front
of his slack is unzipped.
On the contrary, it could be difficult for a man to speak if we see
a lady whose stocking seems to be torn (with some visible lines on her
thigh when wearing miniskirt).. Then, I will let her know in simple
saying/words, looking at different place. If not, many others will have
their eyes on her.
Of course, I will not be in this kind of situation with you all,
but perhaps in my fans meet or autograph session, if I'm in that
