On the side note, this may be disappointing for some YOOGals. We noticed a sliding trend in the number of letters received and number of online messages left at GongYooLover over the past few months. It seems like there is no point continuing with the project when there's only 1 or 2 letters attached, especially now that fans are allowed to post at KFN website. Therefore, we have made the decision to discontinue the project. December despatch will be the last despatch of love letters to YOO from us. If YOOGals have any letter or card to send to YOO, please make sure it arrive by 20th December 2008.

Attention to all Yoogals:

I have on my hand address to Gong Yoo's army unit.

According to yooko, the original source of the address

is from YOO&I's announcement sent to its registered

members ONLY and they are quite reserved on sending to

many letters to the unit. Although some fans have exposed

the address on open website, I will not do so in respect for YOO&I

and also avoid problem for Gong Yoo.

For Yoogals who might have come across the address,

hope you all will try to avoid spreading it further to avoid

complications just in case.

Below are the instructions and guideline of

what we need and what we will do..

(some are extracted from yooko's blog)

1. YooGals will be given TWO (2) options to submit your message

Option 1: Writing a physical letter

Option 2: A thread/blog entry will be created at the YOOMansion

and Gong Yoo Lover group, where you can leave your messages

there and we will print them out before we sent. I

will post the link after I created the thread/blog later on.

2. For physical letter, this is what you have to keep in mind and follow:

- Length of your letter SHOULD NOT be more than one piece

of A4 paper.

- Recommended envelope size is 22x11cm MAX.

- Remember to use pencil to write down your username

and group/website you come from on the right bottom

corner of your envelope.

Eg abc@YOOHouse Soompiabc@yoohouse.org

if you are from YOOMansion and abc@gongyoo.multiply.com

if you are from the multiply group. If you are member of each site,

just use the one that you often login to.

- All letters should be send to the following postal address -

...........................................................

Please attention your letter to Jasmine.

- She will open up the letters she received so that

she can consolidate them together and mail them out

in one big envelope.

- If you wish to have more privacy, you can choose to seal your letter

and put it in another envelope before you send over.

However, try not to seal it too tightly

to save Gong Yoo the trouble of opening it.

In this case, make sure you remember to indicate your

username and website you come from on the smaller

envelope which contain your letter.

- Updates will be given on whose letter she has received

and also whose letter has been sent together to the camp.

Late arrival of letters will be carried over to the next batch.

- Deadline for submission will be announced later.

Meanwhile, Yoogals can start thinking on what to write.


Here are some thoughts extracted from yooko's blog as well.

1. We all hope that YOOgals will continue to write to him

until he completes his MS.

2. Contents of your letter or message should express your words

of encouragement and care/concern for him.

You may also add in some jokes and comics

to make him to cheer him up.

Please keep in mind NOT to intrude into his private life

or write unrealistic messages like

"Please come back and marry YEH soon".

3. It doesn't matter whether you write to him in Korean

or simple English because it is your thoughts that count.

And also try to keep your letter short. if you are from here,

Cut off point for the letter project:

20th of every month for physical letter

17th of every month @ 11:59PM SG time for online messages.
